Hi Arlington friends and neighbors – I’m walking in the second annual Turkey Trot 5K for Arlington EATs on Sunday November 2nd. I have decided to start a team called the “Jive Turkeys” and am welcoming any of you to join. The course will be different this year and will start and end at the field at Ed Burns (same course as AEF 5K) and for an amazing organization that supports our continued mission of neighbors serving neighbors. So my ask?

Well, this is our neighborhood, our town – so if you are able to walk, skip, run, trot or roll, we’d love you to join us for the second annual 5K Turkey Trot to help and support EATS programs and our important mission of Neighbors Serving Neighbors. In an environment where social assistance and SNAP benefits are at risk, it is more important than ever. Join as an individual, a family, part of the “Jive Turkeys”, a scout troop, a school class or grade (let’s go Peirce Pride!!), or any other configuration you can think of to make this a success. You will have to register INDIVIDUALLY before joining a team.
